Anusara Elements ™/Yoga FUNdamentals

In a safe and supportive environment we will explore the Universal Principals of Alignment and poses in the Anusara level 1 syllabus. Modifications offered. This class is appropriate for beginning and ongoing students.


Anusara® Intermediate

Expanding on the foundation created in the Basic and Level 1 classes, a wider variety of poses will be taught. This class is ideal for the student who has an established practice and an understanding of the Universal Principles of Alignment®.


Mixed Levels

Students will learn body awareness through alignment and will build strength, skill and stamina at a steady pace.  Accommodates new students to yoga as well as allows for a challenge when appropriate.


Chair Yoga

If getting up and down off the floor is too much to ask, then this is the class for you!  You’ll be amazed at how effectively energy can move through the body even when we sit in a chair.  Everyone is welcome regardless of limitations.


Restorative

Take time out of your day to relax.  Using breathing techniques, bolsters and blankets  to support your body to experience the effects of soothing, and healing effects for your body.


Yoga Inspired-Stretch 

In this class you will learn postural alignment to support your body with stretches that will build flexibility, stability and strength. Using the wall, blocks and straps for support. The practitioner need not have experience of yoga.


Yoga Stretch/Restorative (All Levels)

A combination class of stretch and restorative yoga.  You will start with learning postural alignment to support your body with stretches that will build flexibility, stability and strength -- usig the wall, blocks and straps for support.  Instructor will incorporate relaxation through breathing and supportive techniques, using blankets and bolsters, to experience soothing and healing effects for your body.  The practicioner need not have yoga experience.
